Our guide John was in equal parts highly knowledgeable about all aspects of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge and engaging/entertaining with comments and stories about the venue and its colorful line of inhabitants over the centuries. We thoroughly enjoyed close proximity to and conversation with high-ranking Beefeater guards and front row status for the changing of the Tower Guard. John was very mindful of the group’s varying physical capabilities and herded us cats quite well.
